Dépaysement

Evelyn is sold into a count’s family and lives a miserable life with a cold, much older husband, finding her only escape in painting. Her life changes when Jay, the son of her husband’s mistress, arrives. Though she should hate him, she feels something new and dangerous. As her curiosity grows and she paints him, he catches her, marking the beginning of a relationship that could lead to both her downfall and her salvation.
